Saturday we had a women's luncheon at church and I was in charge of the craft, it had to be something quick and simple. Alyssa had made these super cute and easy paper flowers at school so I decided that is what we would make. It was so easy and fun to make them with the lady's. I think they were impressed too at how easy they were. We added magnets to the back of them so they can use them on the refrigerator. So I did a little picture tutorial for you all. I am sure you have all seen these made but I thought they were so fun and easy I wanted to make sure everyone knew how to make them too!!!
Start with a 5 1/2" Circle
Cut around about 1/2" till you have about an inch circle in the center.
Snip the end
Roll till you get to the center
Let go of the spiral
Put glue on the circle
Hold the spiral in place and wallah you have a flower, the glue will dry clean.
Add one or two leaves. I cut mine from Walk in The Garden Cartridge at 2"
I added some inking and two stamp sentiment's from My Pink Stamper's Stamp set "More Faithful Sayings"
Here are the ones the girls and I made at our women's luncheon.
