Back in the Swing of Things & a Birthday Banner..

So everyday last week and this week I have thought to myself I need to just get on the computer and write up a post. But it has not happened as you can see. Well, today I forced myself to sit down and relax.I am just trying to get back to a normal schedule and get my house back in order after everyone being here for almost a month. Plus now I am fighting a horrible cold that I caught from my cute little cupcakes so I decided I must sit and share a few projects with all of my sweet crafty friends.

Well, what should I share first??? I think I will share with you a banner I made for my sweet nephews 1st Birthday back in November. Yes, that is how far I am behind in sharing my projects with you. So do you remember the cards I made for their birthday, it was the ones with the crayons attached? I was so bad and I never got them out to them so I am thinking of listing them on Etsy.

Here are the cards and the matching banner.

I have to run get my cupcakes from school but I will try to post a few more details soon but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

My Pink Stamper February Design Team Project

Welcome everyone to a super fun My Pink Stamper's Design team post. Today I have to tell you this has to be one of my favorite challenges & projects we have had yet! I really had so much fun creating this project & I can not wait to see what my fellow design team members created!! So now here is what our challenge was for all of us Pink Designer's, use as many My Pink Stamper stamps from any set(s) on ONE project. It can be a card, scrapbook page, or mini book & of course use your cricut.

I decided to create a card but I was so torn between a home decor project and a card. I have been in desperate need of creating some decor for my girls walls. Can you believe they are pretty much bare, so sad!! But then I found this super cute cupcake card cut from the Wild Card's Cartridge & decided on a shaped card. I cut out the base two times at ", then just glued the two cupcakes together to leave the two base pieces open in the back to create another open flap to have more room to write a message. I then cut out the base two more times 1/4" smaller then each other to make the layers for the front base behind the cupcake, then I created a Subway Art look on that layer with 11 different stamps from My Pink Stamper's stamp sets, "Birthday Crazy" & "Sweet Goodness". I also added one more stamp sentiment on the inside making 12 stamps total used on my project from My Pink Stamper's stamp set "Birthday Crazy". Okay this card is a little hard to explain how I created it so I am just going to show you & if you have any questions feel free to ask.....

I ran the purple frosting layer through a swirly cuttlebug embossing folder, added a green ribbon, diamond stickles, & a few details with my white gel pen.

Be on the look out for a fun giveaway very soon, right here on my blog. Oh & I have so many projects to share with you from the past few months that I have not had a chance to post, so be on the look out also for more regular posting from little old me.

Now don't forget to hop on over to Robyn, My Pink Stamper's blog to check out all the other amazing projects the rest of the Pink Designers created this month!!!

My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop - February

Hi everyone, It is time for another fun Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you are coming from my sweet friend Courtney's Blog, you are right on track. If you are just coming across this post on your own, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper’s blog so that you don’t miss out on anything. Once you’ve visited all of the FABULOUS blogs along the way, be sure to head back over to My Pink Stamper’s blog to join in on the challenge.

Tonight our theme for our project is: Use the color red, a circle, a pink ribbon, MORE THAN ONE  My Pink Stamper stamp and your Cricut. Create a card, scrapbook page or home decor item. I had so much fun creating these sweet little cards. My plan was to create 4 different designs and then recreate 6 more sets for my children's teachers for Valentines Day, so they would each have a little set of cards. But that idea got put on the back burner for preparation for my sister in laws wedding this weekend (be on the look out for fun wedding related posts). So I sat down and at least created 2 different designs to share with you tonight. Then next week Monday and Tuesday guess what I will be doing?? Yes, you guessed right making 20 more cards, oh and making treat bags for my children's classmates, unless they let me go the easy route.

So on to how I created these cards, I welded the bases for my cards using my gypsy to create two 3"x3" cards. I added some cute ribbon, stitching with my white Sukera gel pen,  a few cuts from my Cricut and of course 2 different stamps from My Pink Stamper.

  • For the Base 3"x3" - Kate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge
  • 1st Layer - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
  • 2nd Layer - 3 x 3"
  • Circle cut at 1 1/2" & top layer Circle cut at 1 1/4"  - Create a Critter

  • Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder

Sigh.......

So I have been thinking about my blog the last few months and as you I am sure noticed I took a little step back to focus on my family. Plus I feel we have all been sick off and on since November. It has been a very long trying almost 3 months. Yesterday and today I have been taking care of our youngest who has the stomach flu and trying to keep everyone else from getting. I feel so bad for my sweet baby! I keep praying God would bring health to our family. We have so much going on in the next 4 weeks!

Does any one have any tips on how to get the germs out of your house? I feel like I have been cleaning non stop and still not making any progress.

Well, about the blogging. I will try to post as often as I can craft projects and I also decided I would like to add a few more family posts in the mix. I have been think too about doing a special what's for dinner segment once a week or maybe just once a month. I thought it would be so fun to if we could all link up and share our ideas for dinner. In the new year one of my goals is to get more organized with meals. I will be back soon with a project or two. I

I hope you are all have a wonderful weekend!

My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop - January

Hi everyone, It is time for another fun Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you are coming from Edna's blog (Create With Expression), you are right on track. If you are just coming across this post on your own, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper’s blog so that you don’t miss out on anything. Once you’ve visited all of the FABULOUS blogs along the way, be sure to head back over to My Pink Stamper’s blog to join in on the challenge.

Tonight our theme for our project is: A fresh clean start! Make something for yourself or that you would give someone to welcome the fresh clean start of a New Year! It can be a card, scrapbook page, gift or home decor item. Use your Cricut and of course My Pink Stamper Stamps!!

For my project I created a new notebook for myself since the one I had made before to keep track of everything grew wings and flew away. I covered a plain notebook I had purchased at the Dollar Tree with some super cute paper by Cosmo Cricket, added a few different ribbons to the spirals from Joann's. Then I cut the owl from Kate's ABC's at 3", used pop dots to add him on the front and then added some stickles to the leaves and the beak. I then added the sentiment to the front of my notebook from My Pink Stamper's stamp set Encourage Me. I also decided to cut tabs for the side of my notebook to make dividers. I cut the tabs from the cricut cartridge From My Kitchen at 2", then added some cute sentiments to the tabs from My Pink Stamper stamp sets Sweetest Cupcakes, Scrap-alicious, and Sport-tastic.

Happy November, I can not believe it is already November and I have not posted at all yet this month. I have so much to share and post but I have not taken anytime to sit down an post it. It has been a crazy few weeks to say the least!!

But lets get on to what you are all really here for. Tonight our challenge for our hop is to create a Scrapbook Page or Mini Album, use our Cricut's and My Pink Stamper New Release Stamp set(s). I created a mini album for my niece Selena who just had surgery yesterday to cheer her up. I left the inside of the album blank so each of my kids can decorate a page and write her a little note. For the front I added a flower from the Forever Young Cartridge cut at 1.8" and I decorated the binding with ribbon. I of course used Robyn My Pink Stamper's brand new stamp set "Biggie Family Seniments".

Hi everyone, It is time for another fun Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you are coming from Kassidy's blog, you are right on track. Once you’ve visited all of the FABULOUS blogs along the way, be sure to head back over to My Pink Stamper’s blog to join in on the challenge.

This month’s challenge was to create a Treat or Goody Bag, any holiday or theme, plus of course use your Cricut. I created a little goody box for my daughter's teacher. I purchased the container from Walmart. First I cut the paper to size, covered the container by adhered the paper to the container with modge podge. I added a ribbon to the bottom, made a few paper flowers and cut a tag from Tags Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge at 2 3/4"x 1 1/4" & the layer at 2 1/4" x 1". I added a stamp sentiment from My Pink Stamper's new stamp set "Sweet Goodness" to add the perfect touch! I then put some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in cellophane bag and tied it with some adorable owl ribbon. I added a tag from Birthday Bash Cartridge cut at 4" & the outer layer cut at 4 1/4". I also added a sweet little owl from my brand new Hoot 'n' Holler Cartridge cut at 2". Then I added a few stamp sentiments from Robyn My Pink Stamper's new stamp set "Yummy-licious" and there you have the perfect little gift.
